Research ethics in social science are important not only when conducting research but also at the time of publishing it. It is one of the crucial pillars for maintaining scientific integrity and credibility. The responsibility to implement fair practises lies with researchers, universities, and publishers. The revised and enlarged third edition of this book, titled "Research and Publication Ethics in Social Science," is the reflection of my prolonged sessions that I have conducted in the same area over the last couple of... years. Dr. Sumanta Dutta is presently associated with the Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce (M. Com.), St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, under the University of Calcutta. He is the State President (West Bengal) of the Department of Research and Innovation Wing of the Research Foundation of India. He has over 21 years of experience in teaching and research. He has contributed five edited books, two case books, and one research book to a reputed publishing house in India. He also obtained one patent from the Patent Office of India on December 31, 2021. He has acted as a resource person for more than 61 workshops conducted (both offline and online) by various research bodies in India on the theme of research ethics. He has also contributed more than 41 research papers to various national and international journals, including UGC-CARE, SCOPUS, and ABDC. His work has been well cited both in the SSRN top ten download list and in Google Scholar. For his outstanding contribution in the field of marketing research, he got the National Education Leadership Award in 2019. He also obtained the Teaching and Research Award 2020, the Outstanding Post-Graduate Faculty Mentoring Award 2020-2021, and the Education Excellence Award 2021. Recently, he obtained the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Education Excellence Award 2022 on September 26, 2022.
