Dr. (CA) Sanjib Kumar Basu is working as the Dean in the Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Dr. Basu is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has been in academics for over thirty years, teaching both at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels both at St. Xavier’s College and St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Dr. Basu is the author of eight textbooks for B.com course and professional bodies examinations including the book ‘Auditing and Assurance’ published by Pearson Education. He has presented a number of Research Papers at various National and International seminars in different countries including Singapore, United Kingdom, Poland and Australia.
Dr. Amalendu Bhunia is a Professor, Department of Commerce, and Dean, Faculty of Arts & Commerce, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India. He has experience in teaching the subject of finance, taxation, and statistics for more than 23 years. He has published 110 research articles and 9 books in national and international repute. He has completed 4 research projects funded by the University Grants Commission, India, and the Indian Council of Social Science Research. His research interests are in the financial markets, corporate finance, international finance, and behavioral finance. Under his able guidance eight research scholars have awarded the Ph.D. degree and eight scholars have awarded the M. Phil. degree under his supervision.
Dr Pradip Kumar Samanta is a Professor of Commerce, Department of Commerce, University of Kalyani. He has over two decades of teaching experience at the post-graduate level and the under-graduate level. He is life member of the Indian Accounting Association, Indian Commerce Association and Indian Statistical Institute. Prof. Samanta has become a prolific author and has contributed a number of research papers in leading national and international professional and academic journals. Under his supervision 4 researchers and 4 scholars have completed their PhD and M. Phil degrees respectively. His areas of interest in research include Capital Market, Security Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Governance, Corporate Financial Management etc.
Dr. Sumanta Dutta is presently associated with the Post-Graduate and Research Department of Commerce, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata under the University of Calcutta. He is the State President (West Bengal) of the Department of Research and Innovation Wing of the Research Foundation of India. He has over 21 years of experience in teaching and research. For his outstanding contribution in the field of marketing research he got the National Education Leadership Award in 2019. He also obtained the Teaching and Research Award 2020, the Outstanding Post-Graduate Faculty Mentoring Award 2020-2021, Education Excellence Award 2021 and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Education Excellence Award 2022.
