Sunil Kumar has been working as Director-Academics, at the Institute of Hospitality, Management and Sciences, Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, since January 2022. He completed his Schooling and Graduation from Muzaffarnagar, UP His professional education started with DHM & CT, then Master of Science in Hotel Management. Master of Hotel Management and presently Pursuing PluDm Food, Culture and Tourism (Trilogy). His career journey as botel professional began with Hotel Metro Regency, Meerut, as an Assistant F&B Manager, then as Senior Butler for Hotel Majestic Park Plaza, Ludhiana, Punjab, where he received "Best Employee of the Month award in July 2006 and an appreciation award for "Excellent Service "im September 2006. ,... He continued his career journey in the hotel industry for a few more years working in renowned hotels, With the vast Industry experience, he entered the academia as HoD, Hotel Management at the Sheetal College of Biomedical Sciences, Rishikesh & later at the Babu Ram Degree College, Roorkee. Uttarakhand, both affiliated to the HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Later, he joined as an Assistant Professor and Training & Placement Coordinator at BCSIHM, SVSU, Meerut. His hard work and achievements promoted him to Associate Professor in SVSU, Meerut where he was also given responsibility of Coordinating the exams (internal and external), Member of board of studies, Cultural and Sports committee, College extra-curricular activities, in-charge of twenty-six rooms guest house, and Subharti Hotel & Bakery project. At the SVSU he organised many food festivals, workshops, seminars and four miternational conferences, Mols, Government funded projects etc. After giving his golden 10 years to Subharti University be Joined SRM-IHM, SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana, as Principal. As per his professional skills and enthusiasm he organised many Webinars, Chef Competitions. International Trainings, Workshops etc during his tenure. So far ten Book Chapters in the conference edited books, six papers in the UGC Care Journals and one in an international journal have been published to his name. He also has two patents and two copyrights in his professional profile. He has presented many scientific papers in conferences held in various Colleges and Universities. The abovementioned achievements are not enough to explain about Mr. Kumar.
